Bentley Bentayga

The Bentayga is what happens when Bentley builds an SUV and refuses to compromise on either half of the brief. It rides like a limousine, is quicker than an SUV this size has any right to be, and is finished to a standard nothing else in the class approaches.

The cabin is hand-trimmed: tan hide with contrast stitching front and rear, open-pore wood veneer across the dash and doors, knurled metal controls, a Bentley analogue clock and the winged B embossed into every headrest.

Ours is presented in white with the blackline exterior specification — gloss-black grille, black brightwork and black alloys — over the full tan interior. It's valeted, safety-checked and fuelled before every handover, and photographed at collection and return so there's never any dispute about condition.

This is the car for the day that matters: weddings, milestone birthdays, airport transfers and anything where arriving well is part of the point.
