The Car
About The M4 Competition
The M4 Competition is BMW's M division at full volume — a twin-turbocharged straight-six, adaptive M suspension, and a chassis that rewards you the harder you push it. In convertible form you get all of that with the roof stowed and the exhaust note where you can hear it properly.
The cabin is full M specification: carbon-backed bucket seats with illuminated M badges, yellow contrast stitching, M-branded steering wheel with the red drive-mode buttons, and the full BMW Live Cockpit display.
Ours is presented in Sao Paulo Yellow with the gloss-black grille, black alloys and black exterior detailing. It is valeted, safety-checked and fuelled before every handover, and photographed at collection and return.
It is the fleet's summer car — best booked for a weekend with somewhere to drive to and no particular hurry to get back.
