Lamborghini Huracán Evo

The Huracán Evo took an already brilliant car and gave it the Performante's engine, rear-wheel steering and a predictive control system that works out what you are about to do before you do it. The result is a supercar that flatters rather than frightens — quick enough to embarrass far more expensive machinery, and civilised enough to drive to dinner.

The Spyder's soft top folds in seventeen seconds at up to 30mph, and the rear window drops independently so you can hear the V10 properly even with the roof up.

Ours is finished in yellow with black alloys and the black Alcantara interior with contrast stitching. It is valeted, safety-checked and fuelled before every handover, and photographed at collection and return.

If you want the supercar experience without the theatre of the Aventador's doors, this is the one. It is also the easier of the two to live with for a full weekend.
